Police searched Benfica’s office and the house of its president

Benfica was in the middle of corrupted “E-mail scandal.”
Earlier, Portu accused Benfica that representatives of the “eagles” conducted illegal e-mail correspondence with arbitrators.
This morning the police searched Benfica’s main office, the home of its president, Luis Filipe Vieira,
and the content director of the club’s television channel, Pedro Guerra, TVI24 reports .
Eight arbitrators: Bruno Estesha, Manuel Motu, Georges Ferreira, Nunu Almeida, Vascu Santos,
Hugo Pacek, Rui Silva and Paul Baptisht, are suspected in Illegal connections with Benfica.
The assumption is that if Benfica’s fault is proven, then the club’s class can get downgraded.
