Casillas bypassed Messi and Ronaldo and became the owner of Golden Foot 2017

Portu goalkeeper Iker Casillas won the prestigious Golden Foot award, which is given to over 28 years old players for achievements in football.
Golden Foot is a unique prize that every football player has a chance to win only once in his career.
It is awarded to players over 28 years old, and this year the goalkeeper of Portu Iker Casillas became its owner.
The Spanish goalkeeper bypassed such players as Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Andrea Pirlo, Manuel Neuer, Sergio Ramos,
Yaya Toure, Arjen Robben, Thiago Silva and Luis Suarez.
Last season, the owner of this award was another legendary goalkeeper and Iker Casilla’s friend – Gianluigi Buffon.
Earlier it was reported that the rumors about leaving Casillas from Portu are baseless.
